Example—Changing the Standard Pay Rate
Scenario: From 15-Aug-07 you want to change the Standard Pay Rate to $10 for all Research Employees of the Greenlite Help Desk project.

Note: Since task elements and expense entry statuses are user-defined elements, each organization may have its own items. However, whatever you may call the items, the steps to be followed will be the same as described here. |

Solution: To change the Standard Pay Rate:
- Click on Mass Update… in the View Sheets tab, to open the Mass Update screen.
- In the Elements panel, click on the
button in the Project row and select Greenlite Help Desk.
- In the Phase row, click on the
button and select Research.

In the Employees panel, check Change rates.
When you check Change rates, the Rate, Start Date and End Date items will become visible.
- Select Standard Rate: Pay Rate Tab from the drop-down list.
- Type 10 in the Rate box.

Using the Date Picker, set the Start Date field to 15-Aug-07.

- Click the OK button to update the entries.
